a bunch of stuff

I hate being confused!!! It's horrible!! But yet, youre scared and nervous to ask questions in fear it will come out wrong? ya... story of my life!!!

Ya... I don't really know what to blog about so, here is an update on the things that make me uber happy now a days! :)

1) Hugs!!! Hugs are my favorite! :D

2) Sleeping!!! ( I tend to hurt myself a lot in my sleep! true story!)

3) Slurpee's!!! If you want to make Courtney's day... bring her a slurpee! It works wonders!

4) Hanging out with certain people!!! They make me so happy!

5) Texting certain people! :)

6) Music!! Music just works wonders!

7) Going on drives and just listening to music!

8) Laying in bed and just thinking about everything!

Hmmm... now what?

I love watching my mom play the wii! hahahaha end of story!!! :D

Life... it changes so fast! You never know what to really expect! It has its ups and downs! Lately i have been trying to be super happy! I learned a valuable lesson recently, you're not going to be happy unless you decide to be happy. You could have the crappiest life in the whole world, but if you choose to be happy, no one can stop you. You are in charge of your happiness... not someone else... its all up to you! We all like to blame others for our unhappiness, when in reality, it's all on us. No one can change your mind and make you miserable, it happens in your brain! The end. So choose to be happy and you will be. It's hard at first, but before you know it, you will be completely happy with life and everything else! It's worth it.

It has so many twists and turns... you never really know what to expect.

Who ever thought that so many things could happen in just one weekend?

Rambles

I absolutely hate the end of the term... just so you all know! It stresses me out!!!! All the tests... and last minutes things! so not my forte! Can't wait for it to officially end so my good grades can be locked in.

I saw Hunger Games today at noon!!! :D not midnight.... NOON! it was amazing! I got checked out of third and fourth so i could go see it! It was totally worth missing school for!! I had an amazing time! The movie met my expectations and was so true to the book! made me berry happy

Today I went dress shopping... for prom! I had a great time! :) I found a really cute one of a kind dress that this lady brought back from Seattle!!! It is so stinkin adorably unique and soo me! I pretty much love it! :) The perks of getting asked to Prom early, you have a huge selection of dresses! Disregard Prom.... huge change of events....

I miss hanging out with my favorite people... it's been an uber long time! Weeks!!!!!! Ahhh! It's kinda depressing! I haven't really been able to talk to them either! Just through text... but i guess that's better than nothing.

Next random topic.... I have a new addiction! well two.... Slurpee's and Sweet Potato Fries. The end

I GOT INTO A CAPELLA CHOIR!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!! :D So excited for next year!!!

I watched "Boys Will Be Girls" today oh my stinkin lanta!! (it's on youtube) i laughed so uber hard!

i've also started applying for jobs! it's pretty exciting! just hoping to get a call from one of them! :D

Anywho! That's the update for tonight!

A Purpose

Life is good.

I am happy... or working towards happiness.

It's like the quote, "Action may not always bring happiness but there is no happiness without action." 

Sometimes we aren't always proud of our actions or everything that happens... but we can't dwell on that. That will only make us unhappy. We need to dwell on the good parts of life. The actions that bring happiness. And we can't just wait for the happiness to come... We need to act! That's part of life. Moving on and looking towards the future. 

I'm so  tired of dwelling on everything that has ever happened in the past. I am more than ready to look towards the future. I love being able to smile and laugh and relax. Smiling as I drift off to sleep thinking about the week. I love walking down the hall laughing! Saying hi to all my friends. Not worrying about anything... Just looking forward to the next day and what is going to happen! Things may not always be exactly the way you want them to be... but there is always a balance. Everything won't be perfect at one time. You're gonna have challenges and imperfections. If everything was always perfect, there would be no point to life. Once you perfect something, it seems only reasonable for something to come in that's imperfect. It's a constant cycle. And you're not alone... you have friends and family who are always there for you to help you.

It's taken me so long to learn some of the smallest lessons. These lessons that I wish I hadn't had to learn, but that will somehow benefit me later in life. There is a purpose for everything. You're not just gonna have to go through something because Heavenly Father thought it would be entertaining. You go through things because you're supposed to learn from it. You may not know the reason for it right now, at this very moment, but it will all make sense someday.

"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." (Ether 12:27)
